2016 training

2016 training for u11/u9 girls will start again on Wed 6 January, 6:30-7:30 at Christleton. Cost is £2.50/player. New girls very welcome.

Training at Christleton 3G

We've tried everywhere to get a suitable venue for the girls, on a day they can do, at a time which is not too late. We've drawn a blank after trying a number of places.

What we will do therefore is use a bit of the Christleton 3G pitch which the u13s have on a Weds evening 6:30-7:30. Cost is £2.50 per player payable each week. See you all there!

Training resumes this Thursday

Training resumes this Thursday 5:45-6:45 at Cheshire Sports Club (county officers club) Upton. Cost will be £2.50 per girl. The training will be on the astro, on pitch 7. 

Update

Good to see the girls who turned out for the two Saturday sessions at half term. Hope they enjoyed playing with the u13s.

We are wanting to continue the Thursday sessions and are trying to secure a venue. Watch this space.

Training session this Sat 9:30-10:30 on the field by the pond at Christleton. Bring drink and shin pads and given last week's weather, a jacket will be a good idea!

Great turnout for our sessions

Our open training sessions for younger girls are attracting lots of interest. Last Thursday we had 14 girls down which is excellent.

Keep spreading the word. All girls welcome.

Thursdays 5:30-6:30 on the field at Common Lane, Waverton, just by the Village Hall.

The only thing you need to bring is a drink and shin pads.

u9 training sessions - off we go!

We are starting training sessions specifically for Y3, 4, 5 and 6 girls. They will take place at the Waverton field, Common Land Waverton, 5:30-6:30 every Thursday evening.

We started the sessions on Thurs 17 Sept and had a really good turnout. Any girl who is interested in football can just come down and join in. All you need are shin pads and a drink.

We are hoping to get u11 and u9 teams set up to play in the Cheshire Football League later in the season and next. All we need are the girls!

We already run u18, u15 and u13 teams and so really want to get the younger groups established.  We are a FA Charter Standard Club and have been running girls football for 8 years. All of our coaches are FA qualified, hold first aid, CRB and safeguarding children certificates.
